What are the Weeds???

The Weeds are a rockin' little band out of Dallas Texas, we play classic rock, the "real" stuff, the songs you grew up with, the songs you drank to, the songs some of us rode to...Bad Co., ZZ Top, The Doors, Skynrd, Allmans, Cream...etc.

Who are the Weeds???

The Weeds are a comprised of four good ol' straight forward down home rockers.

Bass: Bubba Gleaves.

Bubba believes in doing things straight up, no flash, all substance. He plays with a style and passion rarely seen in most bass players, He is definitely not a "thump, thump, keep the rhythm" type of player, He gives the Weeds rhythm section a unique flavor

Guitar: Ty "Double T" Tompkins.

Ty is the epitome of understated power and detail(we hope to change this by getting him out to gigs!), He lets his guitar do most of His talking, and His guitar has a lot to say. Laid back, easy going, always has a kind word…truly a rare breed, and a breath of fresh air in a business known for it's "Egos

presence.Vocals: "Reverend" Rock Kitchens.

Rock is a one of a kind; He has a style all his own sometimes described as "Rock & Roll-hillbilly"

He's a bit larger than life, with vocals and stage presence to match. Rock can catch you by suprise ,,,his singing abilitys are out of sight!!!!!!!!!!!

Drums: Dominick Black.

Dominick is the youngest member of the band,And enjoys playing Star classic Drums and Paiste cymbles. He brings a unique fire and energy to His playing that truly separates Him from most. He plays with technical ability and style, always giving due respect to detail and maintaining the integrity and creativity that a Band like the Weeds are built on.
